HRS (UK) LTD was established in London in 1986, from a family background active in jute since the 1950's - the company therefore has contacts in the jute world going back many years. Still a family-owned company, HRS provides a personal and well-informed service, with back up provided by a network of reliable overseas agents known for their dependability.

While HRS's main business is trading in jute and jute goods, we also sell jute machinery (including whole factories) and spares, jute batching oil and emulsifier and various other commodities. HRS can supply technicians on a consultancy basis to customers wishing to update their machinery or improve its efficiency. HRS has supplied to buyers worldwide, including West and East Africa, Latin and Central America, the Caribbean and the Far East.

HRS supply a wide range of customers ranging from government organisations working through the tender system through to many private customers taking smaller orders. HRS have experience in the chartering of vessels and unloading procedures. We can also advise on packing procedures, including the use of a particular system used within containers to prevent damage due to excessive moisture fluctuations within containers during temperatures variations in a voyage.
